Red Riding Hood

This is a concept/cover sketch done to explore the possibilities of delving into the Little Red Riding Hood mythos(?). I think there's more to the story, and I'll explore it through a series of illustrations. The art was done in ink, then colored with Col-Erase pencils on 2 ply bristol. The art was touched up in a few spots with Photoshop, mainly to take away the texture produced by the scanner when it scans the colored pencil. As smooth as the coloring might look to the human eye, the scanner always picks up on the texture produced by the colored pencils.
